AJ Eggers is a native San Franciscan born into a real estate family; he was learning about real estate from a very young age. Raised in the Sunset, he attended Alice Fong Yu Chinese Immersion School, the first Chinese immersion public school in the nation, and graduated from University High School in the Pacific Heights neighborhood. After graduation, AJ went on to pursue a degree in anthropology, studying varying cultures and their differences. Following graduation he went on to work within the nonprofit sustainability sector for two years, focusing mainly on marketing and event management.
AJ’s work experience and anthropological studies combined have helped him learn how to ask the right questions, draw useful conclusions and communicate effectively. In the nonprofit world, AJ learned to wear multiple hats, as nonprofits often require everyone to pitch in when needed, teaching him the power of time management and the ability to adapt to anything that is thrown his way, while his studies in the anthropological realm have provided him with a profound understanding of the way humans communicate with one another. For the past year and a half AJ has worked on numerous real estate transactions coordinating the needs of both buyers and sellers. Collectively, all of these important skills make for a unique and thoughtful approach to real estate.
AJ is a member of the Domain San Francisco Team, leveraging a combined 60+ years of real estate experience. With their shared knowledge, AJ and his team are able to solve just about any problem that could potentially come up during the transaction process. Beyond making sure his clients are satisfied, AJ finds impressing and surprising his clients with the quality and comprehensiveness of his work to be one of the most rewarding aspects of being a Realtor®.
Before AJ joined Corcoran, he volunteered at the SF Zoo for 6 years prior to working with the Asia Society on sustainability efforts and Net Impact on fiscal policy and public education. AJ enjoys traveling, particularly to places with distinct environments, interesting wildlife, and great food. At home, his hobbies include reading and hosting board game nights with friends.
